"I have seen marked improvements in my patients' post-operative recovery through use of the GAME READY system, with reduced swelling, reduced pain, a reduced requirement for painkillers with faster and early recovery and rehab.
I now routinely advise all my patients having intermediate or major knee surgery to use the GAME READY system after their operation, as I've seen it make a significant difference to early outcomes. Of all my many patients who have used the GAME READY kit, every time I ask I hear the same thing - that they think the kit is excellent and that it has really helped them, and that they'd certainly recommend it to others."

“We have been using the Game Ready cold therapy and intermittent compression system for some time now. The ease of use, portability, and above all its clinical effectiveness makes it the obvious choice for the application of cold therapy as part of a treatment regime for both acute injures or just managing ongoing problems. It is the choice of modality for both the medical staff and the players whether at home or on tour with the England Team.”

“Having secured a number of Game Ready units for Team GB’s Medical Centre in the Olympic Village at the Olympic Games in London, I was impressed at how much use the units received.
They were the most used piece of kit, equipment or apparatus available in the Medical Centre. The ease of use for the practitioner and the athlete as well as its obvious effectiveness made it Team GB’s cryotherapy treatment of choice for all acute injuries sustained during the Olympic Games.
Team GB had some amazing results and Game Ready certainly played its part in getting and keeping our athletes on the track, pitches and courts. Thank you!”

“Having personally experienced the benefits of the Game Ready system after recently damaging knee ligaments, I could recommend it to anyone wanting to enhance their recovery.
Since using the Game Ready system I’ve recommended it to many international athletes who have been able to recover from their injuries faster and maintain fitness allowing them to continue to perform to the highest levels over the season.”
Dame Kelly Holmes, DBE

“The Game Ready system really helped control the pain & swelling and helped me get back on my feet following my recent injury. It's widely used by the Welsh Rugby Union's medical teams in the management of acute injuries as well as with players who have undergone surgery. I can now appreciate first hand what an invaluable piece of equipment it is.”
Warren Gatland
Head Coach Wales Rugby / 2013 British & Irish Lions

“For a number of years now, the Game Ready System has proven to be an invaluable piece of kit for our players, whether on tour or completing rehabilitation at home. It excels at two critical aspects of acute injury management - cold and compression - and overcomes the limitations of other units we have trialed due to its effectiveness, portability and easy-to-use anatomical wraps.”
Mark Young
Lead Physiotherapist
England & Wales Cricket Board

“Training time and volume is critical to success. The more quality training that can be done, the better the level of success. All athletes are susceptible to injuries and niggles and as a coach regardless of how progressive and systematic a training plan I can put together, injuries can always occur. Time lost training will of course inevitably lead to a loss in competitive form.
It’s for this reason that the Game Ready system with its timed combinations of cold and compression therapy is the best option for the recovery and avoidance of those niggles that can result not only in reductions to training but might also develop into more long term injury issues.”
Toni Minichiello
UKA Olympic Coach

"Having worked in elite sport during the past 10 years, the Game Ready system has optimized the delivery of cold & compression. Its impact on post operative and acute injury management has been invaluable. Whilst working in Professional football, International football and Olympic sport, the Game Ready has been an irreplaceable piece of medical equipment. A defining characteristic is its portability, enabling consistent management in the clinic, at the athletes home and during team travel."

“Having worked with Elite Rugby Players for the last 12 years, the introduction of the Game Ready system has been an invaluable aid in the treatment of acute injury and helping players to reduce pain and swelling. The user-friendly nature of the unit ensures good player compliance and it just as effective for the treatment and management of chronic injuries.
The portability of the Game Ready unit makes it ideal for pitch-side use allowing players to receive immediate and effective treatment. I would whole heartedly recommend this product to anybody.”

“Game Ready plus an amazing physio was the reason I was able to compete in every game at London 2012 and come away with an Olympic Bronze medal. My body was given the best opportunity to recover and I was able to minimise the swelling in my injuries throughout the tournament.”
Alex Danson

“Having used Game Ready in both inpatient and outpatient settings, I would strongly recommend it to any dynamic forward thinking department. Through correct application it has the ability to significantly enhance the rehabilitative phase of a patient’s treatment, reducing pain and swelling while allowing mobility that ensures a timely discharge from inpatient care.
It is just as efficient in an outpatient setting when dealing with both chronic and traumatic presentations, and having used it in the arena of professional sport for the past two seasons, Game Ready is now widely recognized by elite athletes as the best modality for cold & compression therapy.”
Jeremy Williams
Physiotherapy Manager – Spire Cardiff
Head Physiotherapist - Newport RFC & Newport Gwent Dragons

“I was initially very sceptical in 2007 whilst working as team physiotherapist to the senior England international rugby union side when I was introduced to Game Ready. However, scepticism soon turned to fascination with the cold and compression therapy as I immediately saw the benefits of such an effective and efficient method of the dual action system. It sold itself due to its simplicity and ease of use with highly innovative cold/ compression wraps that fit all contours of the body. More importantly, I have found it to be the most effective cold and compression system in reducing pain and swelling associated with sports injury or post-surgical cases, and can be used systematically for recovery post competition or training to reduce muscle soreness. I have seen all athletes using Game Ready demonstrate a high degree of compliance in cold and compression therapy due to the safe, easy to use and highly effective nature of the Game Ready units. I highly recommend Game Ready to anyone working in sports medicine.”

Game Ready has been helping me now for months. Following my initial surgery the pain was so severe it was the only thing that enabled me to sleep through the night. As an athlete I don't want to be taking too many painkillers so I relied heavily on the soothing cold therapy and gentle compression to help me rest and recover in the early stages.
Now that the pain is manageable I use my Game Ready more for reducing the swelling that develops at the end of the day as I become more mobile and increase my work in the gym. Fortunately, all I need to do is plug into my Game Ready when I get home and by the next morning I am ready to go again. It really is a hugely integral part of my recovery & rehabilitation.

“With the fixture schedule English Premier League Football clubs face and the physical demands that this creates for today’s professional footballer, Game Ready has become an integral part in helping footballers not only recover from injury faster, but also stay fit and perform at the intense level expected in English Football. With the majority of our first team now Game Ready users, having access to Game Ready is proving invaluable.

"Having used Game Ready for the first time during the Delhi Commonwealth Games I cannot speak highly enough of it. Game Ready was used for a broad spectrum of issues, all with very positive results. The device is very easy to use and most athletes where able to apply it independently after initial instruction. This of course freed up the medical team for more hands on treatments, which in multi sport events is essential. Definitely a brilliant tool to have in any Medical Team.”
Sandi Lyall - Physiotherapist

“We have found the Game Ready System to be an extremely useful tool in reducing pain and swelling in both pre and post operative trauma patients. It is easy to use for both patients and staff and you can objectively measure the difference it makes to our patients with respect to swelling.”

“A huge thank you to Game Ready following my recent knee surgery. I’m really happy with how it has worked. For a person like myself, being able to initially use the machine overnight and control movement was a key factor. It has certainly been a big influence in reducing the swelling and being able to see my kneecap for the first time in over four years!”

"Game Ready is having a massive impact on the number of athletes able to train and compete in a contact sport like Judo where being injured is the norm. We see rapid results with reducing prepatellar and infrapatellar swelling in knees. Game Ready now forms an important part of post operative rehabilitation allowing our athletes to recover faster, especially after knee and shoulder surgery, and complete the necessary volume of work without irritation. The portability and user-friendly nature of the unit has allowed us to use Game Ready at the European and World Championships. The fact that our athletes love Game Ready just enhances its impact!”

"I have been a physiotherapist for 9 years and in that time have had the privilege of working with elite sports teams within Australia and Great Britain along with excellent private practices. The pressure to return professional athletes and the layperson to their chosen sport/ activity continues to grow and as such I am constantly searching for technology to aid this process. I can honestly say that the Game Ready system has been the most efficient modality in performing this function. Its ability to reduce swelling and pain is second to none and as a direct result has allowed many a player and patient to commence earlier rehabilitation. I would whole heartedly recommend the product and am very proud that Kensington Physio is able to offer this wonderful piece of kit to its patients and to those of Orthopaedic surgeons."

“Having worked as a full-time physiotherapist in professional sport for over 7 years and now within a specialists sports injury clinic, I can truly say that I have seen the many benefits that the Game Ready has to offer across the whole population, from your seasoned pro, to your weekend warrior. With the dual action wraps, no injury can go uncovered. Maintaining temperature throughout each programme setting whilst applying continuous intermittent compression helps take the traditional “RICE’ protocol to a whole new level. With today’s ever increasing pressures on a quick return to fitness, Game Ready plays a significant role.”

“Our staff have been using Game Ready systems at the local military camp for over a year and have been so impressed not only with the enhanced recovery rate of musculo-skeletal injuries and post Orthopaedic surgery, but also for more chronic problems including low back pain and tendonitis.
With a team of 16 Chartered Physiotherapists covering five busy clinics, as well as servicing NHS, corporate and military contracts, we now have Game Ready systems at all our treatment centres. We are also finding being able to provide rental systems for our post-op Orthopaedic patients to use at home invaluable for reducing pain & swelling, not to mention greatly increasing recovery rates. Certainly more effective clinically than any other cold & compression modality.”

“I’ve been using Game Ready after first experiencing its benefits with the England Cricket Squad in 2008. After having further surgery on my knee, I purchased my own system as it controls the pain and swelling unlike anything else available on the market and assists you to get on with rehabilitation. It is an essential part of my management even after returning to full activity.
I would thoroughly recommend Game Ready to anyone.”

“Having been a professional rugby player for the past 10 years I have experienced my fair share of injuries. In that time I have also experienced and seen many different forms of treatment for the management of acute injury and can honestly say that Game Ready has been the most efficient at reducing swelling and pain. The ease of use, no mess and the quality of cold and compression is unlike any other machine on the market. It is our unit of choice for the New Zealand All Blacks and is now the unit of choice at my current club, Leicester Tigers. I would recommend Game Ready to anyone who has had an acute injury or has just undergone surgery if you want to improve your chances of a faster recovery.”

"After multiple Anterior Cruciate ligament injuries, I was introduced to Game Ready 2-3 weeks prior to my third operation. I was low in confidence and concerned about the length of recovery from the impending surgery. I was told about the benefits and the science behind Game Ready, so I invested in one and since then it’s played an imperative part in my recovery. Due to the reduction in pain and swelling, Game Ready allowed me to be up and mobile at least 3-4 weeks sooner than expected. The level of cold and compression is very effective without being uncomfortable and better than anything I’ve tried before. No more messy ice packs or compression sleeves, just one system that is easy to use, safe, and very portable. Amazing! I’ve returned to premiership rugby and have been playing for 14 months for Bath Rugby and would recommend the Game Ready system to anyone looking to make an efficient and thorough recovery.”

“There is never a good time to be off work or laid up at home recovering from knee surgery, so the Game Ready System is a real innovation. Within hours of my surgery I was home with a Game Ready knee wrap applied. The System is so easy to use and can be programmed to safely run throughout the night for constant relief post surgery. The cold and compression it provided totally replaced the need for any painkillers and I experienced no swelling at all. My recovery period was remarkable; I was up on my feet without the aid of any crutches within a couple of days.” Thanks Game Ready.

“I have been training for my next Ultra Marathon (The Marathon des Sables), due to be held in April 2010. Unfortunately, I recently injured my knee, which forced me to stop training. The problem was diagnosed quickly and the initial aim was to reduce the swelling and improve my comfort levels. I was offered the option to rent a Game Ready unit from my Physio, an icing/ compression machine that apparently is used widely by premiership football and rugby clubs. I was initially a bit reluctant, as I did not think it would help too much. How wrong I was!! Not only does it relieve the swelling and pain, but it does so with no mess. No more frozen peas!! The other great thing is that once it is on you can literally use it 24/7, you can even sleep in it. I would definitely recommend the Game Ready system to anyone who has an injury and wants to get it sorted quickly.”
Alex Brierley (Ultra Marathon Runner)

“I have been unfortunate in the last year to have had three operations on my knees. It wasn’t until after my second operation that I came into contact with Game Ready whilst away on camp with England Rugby. I was immediately amazed by how effective it could be at managing swelling and aiding me in increasing my training volume. Since then I have bought my own Game Ready and after my last operation it has taken a dramatically shorter time to reduce swelling and transition through the rehabilitation process. Just being able to put it on straight after a session or while you’re sleeping without any mess or hassle is a real plus for me. I can’t actually say enough good things about it. It’s so simple to use and very effective at what it does.”

“Late last year I underwent an ACL reconstruction following an injury sustained earlier during the cricket season. My consultant left me in no doubt that in order to stand any chance of returning to work within a reasonable length of time (never mind playing again), that the immediate post-op period was crucial to the entire process – not only in terms of physiotherapy but in particular ensuring that the swelling be reduced and maintained.
That is where the Game Ready system really came into its own, permitting consistent and repeated treatment, the result of which was that I was up on crutches within 3-4 working days, able to undertake all my physiotherapy exercises and ultimately returned to work within 2 weeks, rather than the minimum 5 weeks that my GP had predicted. Working in the City in this economic climate meant that it was imperative for me to return to work as quickly as possible. In order to achieve this I was fortunate enough to be able to access a first-class surgeon and physiotherapist, but it was without doubt the Game Ready system that did the trick.”

“After I retired from competitive international swimming, I’ve been an active young professional working for an international company, including long travel trips and hours. Following a ski accident and surgery on my left knee ACL, my normal life of activities, including travel, became much more complicated, and I faced a long recovery with continuous swelling and complications. Dealing with this, Game Ready was been the best tool to solve the continued swelling that plagued my day-to-day life. It wasn’t just effective, it was simple. While I slept my knee kept getting better. I’m not a fan of sitting at home or on the sidelines so Game Ready was the best thing to help me get back to work and play. Now I’m travelling again and doing all the running, golfing, and fun activities I want with my friends. Without Game Ready, I can’t imagine how long it would have taken to fully recover – Thanks Game Ready!”
